French Baking Class (4 hours) 8am to 12pm ($90) 

This lesson will involve hands-on practice on the techniques involved in delicious French baking - kneading, folding, shaping and scoring dough. The secrets of baguettes, boules, batards and brioches will be revealed!  This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for any level of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast, and you can take home  all of the delicious fresh bread you bake! 

Italian Baking Class (4 hours) 8am to 12pm ($90)

Come to Vic’s Bakehouse for 4 hours of  in-depth exploration into the fundamentals of Italian bread-making! Breads taught will include Focaccia, Olive Focaccia, Ciabatta, tomato bread and Pandoro. At the end of the class you can take home all of the delicious fresh bread you’ve baked! This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for all levels of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast!

Croissant Class (4 hours) 8am to 12pm ($90)

During this four-hour class you will be taught to master the iconic croissant, the pain au chocolat, the snail-shaped pain au raisin and much more! You will learn how to make leavened layered dough, how to whip up the crème patissiere (pastry cream), how to perfectly shape your pastries and all of the tips and tricks that you need to guarantee your success baking at home! At the end of the class you can take home all of your delicious fresh baking.! This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for all levels of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast!

Bagel Class  (4 hours) 8am to 12pm ($90)

During this class we will be revealing the secret of the bagel! Members of the workshop will be taught every step - Making, shaping, boiling and baking the dough with your own choice of seed toppings. This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for any level of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast, and you can take home all of the delicious bagels you make!

Puff Pastry Class (4 hours) 8am to 12pm ($90) 

Come to Vic’s Bakehouse and learn how to make your own puff pastry. It is a great skill to have and that will open the door to many fantastic pastries and pies. You will learn about the secrets of a good lamination and go home with some delicious cheese sticks, apple and savoury tart and a block of puff pastry so you can try your hand at baking at home! Puff Pastry is a great introduction to understand the concept of layered dough to help you in your croissant journey! At the end of the class you can take home all of your delicious fresh baking! This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for all levels of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast!

Introduction to 100% Sourdough (Two four hour classes on Sundays - 8 to 12) ($170)

This sourdough bread class is brilliant for both beginners and experienced bakers alike. During this course we will bake many different kinds of bread as well learn the science behind making, kneading, scoring and using different sourdough starters. This class will also discuss the diversity of various sourdoughs and their nutritional and organoleptic properties. 

At the end of the class you can take home all of the delicious fresh bread you have baked! This is a hands-on workshop that is suitable for all levels of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast!
